I was tasked by the Association of Filipinos in Thailand to be their official photographer during their celebration of the Philippine Independence Day at Ariston Hotel in Bangkok. This is I consider one of the top photos that I have taken during my Angkor Wat trip. We just came back from a boat ride at Tonle Sap lake. It was late in the afternoon while I saw this kids playing on top of a sand filling. A road construction was on the way.
The moment we pulled over, I went closer to these kids who were were eager to have their photos taken. Though the light was good at that time, I still opted for this kind of shot. I did not think that there is a need to show their faces to evoke a certain mode. In fact I feel that it worked much better this way. What do you think
