Finally I’ve decided to let go of my old logo. It’s not that I don’t like it, it’s just that I needed something more visually distinct that would serve as my icon.

The one that I am using right now, with the red symbol in front of my name, is actually an ancient writing called Alibata which stands for JST. Alibata is used by the Filipinos in the ancient times. And I am glad to know that there are people nowadays who are trying to reintroduce this symbols to the younger generations.

So, going back to my new logo. I’ve decided to shorten my name to Jose Tan without my middle name Santiago. I thought the old one is quite long and not easy to remember as the one that I have now. As for the symbol, I opted for a circle though I was also thinking about the square option which I might add to the above list later.

Well, I am giving myself a week to decide which logo I will finally use along with my planned theme design.
